Day 1

Upon arrival into Hong Kong Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your luxury hotel.

Day 2

The next morning you will be taken on a tour of the city, a British colony from 1842-1997, visiting a number of temples, modern structures and The Peak in Victoria, with a stunning, panoramic view of skyscrapers, the glittering harbour and the green hills of the distant New Territories. For those with children, a visit to Ocean Park in the afternoon is essential, with thrilling roller coasters, giant pandas and a world-class aquarium.

Day 3

Today you will visit the markets in Kowloon and explore the New Territories in the afternoon, giving you a taste of rural Hong Kong life away from the frenetic pace of the city. In the evening you can visit the Temple Street Night Market, a bustling market with excellent snacks and souvenirs.

Day 4

Today you will be taken on a day trip to Macau by fast boat, which was a Portuguese Colony until 1997. More sleepy than vibrant Hong Kong, it boasts a world-famous casino, the world’s highest bungee jump (from the 233m tall Macau Tower) and is very unique, due to its colonial heritage. After a tour, you will return in the evening by boat to Hong Kong for the night.

Day 5

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kunming, in the heart of Yunnan province.

Day 6

Over the next two days you will be taken to visit the distinct and vast Stone Forest, formed of jagged rocks and formations, and Dianchi Lake, the 6th largest in China. The other main attraction of the province is the population, formed of unique ethnic groups that still live a traditional existence in the surrounding countryside.

Day 7

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin. You will be transferred to your hotel by one of our representative.

Day 8

Full day private tour with English-speaking guide Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo  Arrival at Yangshuo early in the afternoon Walk along the countryside of Yangshuo Then visit the famous Limestone caves. Return back to Guilin in the evening Overnight in Guilin

Day 9

After breakfast you will fly from Guilin to Shanghai, China’s largest city and a huge financial centre.

Day 10

Over the next few days you will enjoy a half-day city tour, visiting the Bund, a European financial centre during the colonial era, Jade Buddha temple and Shanghai Museum. In the afternoon, you can spend time wandering along Nanjing Road, Shanghai’s busy shopping area.

Day 11

Today, you will visit Zhujiajiao, an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1700 years and known as China’s Venice. Its famous bridges, still used today, date back from the 16th Century.

Day 12

Today you will fly to Xian in the morning, being transferred to visit the Terracotta Army from the airport. On your half-day tour, you will be able to see the vast collection of terracotta sculptures commissioned by Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. The 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses were buried with the emperor in 210–209 BC to protect him in the afterlife. In the evening you will enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show, with traditional music and dancing.

Day 13

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Beijing, the historic and modern capital of China and home to the 2008 Olympic Games.

Day 14

Over the next few days you will be taken on a day trip to visit the world famous Great Wall of China and will enjoy a city tour, visiting the infamous Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, home to Chinese emperors for over 500 years.
