DAY 1:
Guests arrive into Pemba from Dar es Salaam/Nairobi or Johannesburg. All flight schedules are available on request. After clearing customs and collecting luggage, guests will be met by a representative from Guludo Beach Lodge.
Guludo Beach Lodge lies on the mainland, opposite Matemo Island in the north of the Quirimbas National Park. Guludo offers wildlife, both above and below the warm waters edge. Perfectly situated to discover these wonders, you can dive the pristine coral reefs, explore the islands, soak up the rich local culture and take in the vast thick African bush.
2 nights at Guludo Beach Lodge. Guludo has a rustic exclusivity with spacious, beach-front bandas and an intimate feel with character filled service and exotic, fresh sea-based cuisine. All of their bandas have been designed by their award winning architects - a mix of rustic meets beach with traditional and contemporary styles.
DAY 3:
Guests transfer by boat from Guludo Beach Lodge to Ibo Island Lodge.
A 30 minute boat ride to Ibo Island for a 2 night stay at the beautiful Ibo Island Lodge.
Ibo Island Lodge is the perfect place to explore the Quirimbas Archipelago National Park in Northern Mozambique. Ibo Island’s magic is overwhelming. Steeped in history, rich in culture and nominated as a potential World Heritage Site, the island dates back to the early 1600’s, making it one of the most ancient settlements in Mozambique. Since its role as one of the country’s central trading centers, Ibo has remained all but forgotten to the outside world for almost a century. Today you can wander around the mysterious town amongst forts and ancient romantic buildings with many fascinating stories just waiting to be retold.
DAY 5:
Air hop from Ibo Island to Vamizi Island for a further 3 nights accommodation.
The Island of Vamizi, with its clear waters, abundant marine life and thick untouched coral reefs, is a paradise. Uncultivated, with thick forests, acacias, hibiscus and casuarinas trees. It is also rich in birdlife and we think it has some of the best beaches and diving in the Quirimbas Archipelago.
DAY 8:
Guests transfer by air from Vamizi Island to Pemba, in time for outgoing flight.

DAY 1:
Guest fly into Vilanculos International Airport from either Johannesburg or Nelspruit. Guests will be met by a representative from Marlin Lodge and transferred by boat to Benguerra Island.
Formed hundreds of thousands of years ago, the Bazaruto Archipelago is a result of mass sand deposits by the waters of the Limpopo River, and is now host to over 2000 fish species and over a hundred coral species. From sand dunes to freshwater lakes and acacia woodlands, Benguerra Island is a diverse ecological gem.
3 nights at the beautiful Marlin Lodge. Marlin Lodge is built on elevated wooden stilts and overlooks a tranquil Flamingo bay.
DAY 4:
Guests fly by light aircraft from Benguerra Island to Bazaruto Island, for the next 4 nights at Indigo Bay Resort & Spa. The lodge offers world-class luxury and facilities, its elegant yet natural design perfectly complimenting the beauty of its tropical location overlooking Indigo Bay. The guest areas, as well as the luxury Beach Chalets and Bay View Villas, have been constructed of natural materials like reed, thatch and wood in order to blend with the natural surroundings.

DAY 1:
Guests fly from Johannesburg into Beira. Guests will be met at Beira Airport off the incoming flight by a representative from Explore Gorongosa.

DAY 4:

The island, carefully protected as a Nature Reserve Park, is a beautiful and unspoilt destination, characterized by its wild fauna, turquoise sea and idyllic beaches. The Lodge offers a unique combination of beauty, comfort and relaxation that makes it the perfect spot for nature lovers, divers, fisherman and water sport enthusiasts.
