17 DAY LUXURY TOUR
Zeta have devised this exceptional 17 day luxury tour of South Africa as an ‘ultra-special’ corporate package, a once in a lifetime incentive trip – or something unforgettable for ‘honeymooners’. Whatever your requirements – this tour can be tailor made to give you exactly what you want. Here’s what you can look forward to during your luxurious stay:
Day 1: CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met at the door of your plane by our representatives, who will escort you through Immigrations and Customs channel and assist you with baggage. You will then be transferred to Kensington Place for 4 night’s accommodation.
Kensington Place is on the slopes of Table Mountain. The city, its harbour and the surrounding mountains are all visible from each private terrace. Lush quiet gardens and an intimate pool surround the property. The interiors have an unmistakable contemporary feel with eclectic African touches throughout. You can be pampered to breakfast in bed, on your terrace or overlooking the gardens at any time.
Day 2 - 4: CAPE TOWN
Your hire car will be delivered to the hotel by Europcar this morning. You have unlimited mileage with your car hire and your insurance cover is super cover.
These days will be spent at leisure in the wonderfully vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Cape Town. You will have the opportunity to visit the Parliament Buildings, the vibrant Waterfront, the historic city centre and markets, the beaches and outdoor cafes of Camp’s Bay and Clifton, Robben Island, the Cape of Good Hope, and of course, Table Mountain, with never ending views over the city and Peninsula. (If you wish to prebook any tours, please let me know). There are helicopter tours or you can ride a Harley Davidson down to Cape Point!
Day 5: FRANSCHHOEK
Today you will check out Kensington Place and will set off to Franschhoek in the Winelands. Founded by French Huguenots over 350 years ago, it is widely regarded as the culinary capital of South Africa, and its beautiful setting and café lined streets will charm you. You will check in at The Franschhoek Country House for your 2 night’s accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.
The Franschhoek Country House is a boutique style hotel just outside the picturesque Cape Wine Route village of Franschhoek. The property is a lovingly restored manor house and former perfumery dating back to 1890; it is surrounded by enchanting vineyards and majestic mountains.
The hotel boasts two pools with beautiful mountain vistas, in-house salon, 2 luxurious restaurants and beautifully manicured gardens. Attention to detail and friendly personalized service makes this experience and fine country retreat one to remember.
Day 6: FRANSCHHOEK
Today you can spend at leisure or set off to explore the Winelands, surrounded by superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. You can visit Paarl with its mountain setting and Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, with canal lined avenues, and magnificent examples of Cape Dutch architecture. And of course you can visit one of the many renowned estates for a cellar tour and wine tasting.
Day 7: OUDTSHOORN
This morning you will leave the Winelands behind you and head towards the Garden Route. Travel along the scenic Route 62 through the rough semi-desert landscape of the Little Karoo to Oudtshoorn.
Check in at Rosenhof Country Lodge for your 1 night’s accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.
The Rosenhof Country House lies in the Outskirts of Oudtshoorn, the Cango caves and Ostrich Farms are nearby.
The property, a circa 1852 renovated Victorian Homestead, has exposed yellowwood ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture. There are 12 separate bedrooms and 2 executive suites, furnished in Cape Victorian-style with en-suite bathrooms, remote controlled air-conditioning and satellite television, telephone, mini-bar and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Wellness Centre offers guests a fully equipped gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and a beauty clinic. Guests can enjoy traditional country cuisine with a Cordon Bleu touch, there is also an extensive wine collection on offer.
Day 8: PLETTENBERG BAY
Today you cross over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to the Garden Route passing through the towns of George and Knysna on your way to Plettenberg Bay. Your accommodation for the next 2 nights is at The Bay Lodge, where you will stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
The luxurious Bay Lodge is a mere 2 minutes’ leisurely walk from Plettenberg Bay’s Central Beach. This designer boutique beach lodge offers the latest designer trends with the highest standards of luxury lodging with unbeatable location, magnificent views, tranquil contemporary beach décor and a roof terrace with Jacuzzi and BBQ facilities.

There is much to see and do from hiking or biking along the forest trails, horse-riding, deep sea fishing, sailing, surfing and swimming or simply relaxing on the beach nearby.
Day 10: EXETER KIRKMANS
Today you will have an early start. You will check out The Bay lodge and set off to George Airport. Here you will drop off your rental car and check in for your flight to Johannesburg, departing at 9:50 and arriving at 12:00. In the arrivals hall you will be met by a representative of Fedair, who will accompany you to your connecting charter flight, departing at 13:30 and arriving at Exeter at 15:30.
At arrival you will be transferred to Kirkmans Camp where you will check in for your 2 night’s stay on a fully inclusive basis.
Exeter is situated within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, renowned for having the best Big Five game-viewing in South Africa, if not the world. Located on the southwestern corner of the Kruger National Park, there are no restricting fences, thus enabling the animals to roam freely just as nature intended. The Reserve is famous for its incredible leopard sightings. Traversing over 10,000 hectares of ‘Big Five’ territory, guests can enjoy the wanders of the African bush.
Kirkman's Camp is a historic and famous camp which was originally built in the early 1920’s. The colonial atmosphere of gracious style and luxury has been retained, and one steps back in time upon entering the old homestead, which now serves as the recreational hub of the camp. The large lounge, decorated in 1920 style, leads through double French doors onto rolling lawns that provide a velvety contrast to the wild and tumbling bush surrounding the camp.
Day 11: EXETER KIRKMANS
This day will be spent at leisure at the safari camp. Game drives are included. A typical day on safari would include waking up at sunrise for a morning game drive, the best time to see the animals. You will then return to camp for brunch and a few hours at leisure to have a siesta and enjoy the surroundings. At about mid-afternoon there will be another game drive through to sunset and then returning to camp for dinner.
Day 12: EXETER LEADWOOD
Today, after your morning game drive you will be transferred to Leadwood Lodge to give you the opportunity to a different safari experience.
Exeter Leadwood Lodge is a small exclusive lodge, situated on the banks of the perennial Sand River. The lodge is cocooned in natural bush where jackalberry and leadwood trees lend their shade and the 4 luxury suites are distanced to offer solitude and serenity. Each suite has a private eternity-edge pool, wrapped around by a wooden deck.
