CAPE TOWN - Based on a Long Weekend.

Thursday
Depart from London Heathrow between 19.00 & 21.00 hours. The flight, on British Airways or South African Airways will be scheduled, non stop, overnight, enough to get some serious sleep, and there will be only two hours time difference.(One when the UK is on BST)

Friday
Arrive in Cape Town in the morning. You will be met and assisted to the two minibuses that will be your transport for the next few days. Leave for Floreal House, a pretty guesthouse in the heart of the city bowl. Two rooms will be booked in advance in order for you to freshen up and shower if you like.

Floreal House - possibly the best value and most spectacular lodging that golf tourists have yet experienced. A refreshing swim and a bottle of South African Claret should certainly refresh the parts that even Heineken cannot reach.

Depart for the Royal Cape Golf Course for 18 holes in spectacular surroundings. It's the oldest course in South Africa, and demands accuracy off the tee ! I can already see you striking a low and accurate three iron away down the first ! If the 'South Easter' blows this course will be an exhilarating experience, your best Wind player could come into the reckoning !

Royal Cape Golf Club, the colonial style club house and 18 th Green - if Ernie Els and Gary Player can play well here what price you??

In the evening, return to the guesthouse to change before heading out for a light meal in the area (dinner in house can be arranged, which might be nice for the first night).

Overnight at Floreal House in twin rooms.(B&B)

Saturday
Have a late start after your big day yesterday and then depart for Clovelly Golf Course for 18 holes on a course considered to be one of the most scenically attractive in the Cape region.

Views over the Indian Ocean and features such as   'Bobby's Bar' in the clubhouse, named after the Great Bobby Locke will definitely get the attention of the thirsty golf tourist. The 9 th hole, a demanding par 5 to tempt the longer hitters, could create many points for discussion at 'Bobby's Bar' after the round !

Lunch at the "halfway house" is included and the evening will be free to explore the Cape Town Waterfront with dinner included later on.

Overnight at Floreal House in twin rooms.

Sunday
Leave after breakfast and travel to the Milnerton Golf Course, for 18 holes including lunch.

Milnerton Golf Club - the South East wind known as the 'Cape Doctor' makes frequent house calls ! Punch those 7 irons to keep it under the wind.

The course is a straight out and back links type course between the Atlantic Ocean on one side and a lagoon on the other. Your telescopic golf ball retriever could well come in handy !

In the afternoon, return to the guesthouse to relax or explore the city further. Trips offered up Table Mountain or to Robben Island. "Tour Dinner" later on in Camps Bay is included - spectacular sunset over the ocean and late night bars!.

Overnight at Floreal House in twin rooms.

Monday
Depart for the wine lands for 18 holes at the historical Stellenbosch Golf Course with lunch included.
With wine within touching distance, you will need all of your powers of concentration to complete this round !

A parkland layout with large trees framing most holes. This course is not affected by the wind as much as the other courses played so far and would probably suite a higher ball flight.

Afternoon at one of the famous wineries., with excellent value wine tasting, and wine drinking, to look back on a fantastic tour just ending, and a holiday just beginning.

In the evening, return to the guesthouse to meet your wives/families/ girlfriends and continue from there on one of the optional holidays, or return to the UK that evening.
