Itinerary:
Day One
After you overnight flight from the UK( with only 2 hours time difference) you will be met at Cape Town International airport by your host. A short transfer to the Table Mountain Cableway where drinks will be served on Table Mountain with magnificent views over the city., whilst your luggage is transferred to the hotel. Then, check in to the award winning , 5 star Cape Grace Hotel where lunch is served and spend the afternoon at leisure to explore the vibrant Victoria and Albert Waterfront. We meet for pre dinner drinks on the pool deck before a private dinner in the Conservatory.
Day Two
After breakfast in the hotel overlooking the private quay, depart on a 'Super Glide or Low Rider ' Harley Davidson for a stunning journey to the Cape of Good Hope . The thunderous rumblings of the convey will take you along the magnificent Atlantic coastline. On arrival take the funicular to Cape Point where lunch will be served at the Black Marlin , once a whaling station, and now a restaurant with an enviable reputation as one of Cape Towns best seafood eateries. Return to Cape Town via Boulders Beach and see the Penguins. Dinner served on the Terrace of Baia restaurant with some of Cape's best wines to choose from.
Day Three
After breakfast depart for the Winelands set amongst the beautiful scenery and mountains. Just south of Stellenbosch we stop for a tasting at Meerlust Wine Estate, which produces some of the Capes greatest red wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir. Then, through to Franschoek valley to the innovative Le Petit Ferme restaurant , voted one of the Capes 10 best where lunch will be served. There will be time to wander around Franschoek before our return to Cape Town. In the evening guests are transferred to dinner at La Colombe, a French inspired restaurant at the wonderful Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate.
Day Four
After breakfast guests will be escorted by a private guide to the Robben Island Museum and enjoy a tour to Robben Island, once the imprisonment home of Nelson Mandela and now a World Heritage Site. Enjoy lunch and the afternoon at leisure in Cape Town before your evening flight to London.
